My dear clients and my dear friends.
This piece does carry my alliance, and so I ask you to forgive me if I offend you. It is not intended to do so in any way. I love nurturing this world in its state of now, is, and will be, and we are all very important in this journey. Each with our voice and our song. Creating a world of harmony and discourse as we go along!!!
In a world constantly shaken by a whirlwind of chaos and a profound sense of uncertainty, recent events in our nation have ignited deep emotional turmoil for many. The fabric of society appears to be fraying, leaving individuals to grapple with their feelings amidst the noise of conflicting opinions and divisive rhetoric. As friends and fellow citizens, we gather in the aftermath of these challenges to seek solace and understanding. Now more than ever, reflecting on the importance of emotional peace during turbulent times is vital.
Call it as it is.
It Is important to understand that some of the premises of life, women’s health, and personal freedoms for many are challenged today. This nation that has been the symbol of democracy, that rose as a beacon of light from the embers of war, is challenged! Nowhere else in the world are such principles at stake. Nowhere else in the world are the liberties of women and the health of our bodies at risk. This is, therefore, no longer a democracy, my friends. It is an autocracy. Let us call it what it is.
It is a time to deeply wonder why it has come to this. Why do lies and fake news seem to be driving the masses? Some of us have indeed voted for the party we have loved. I can understand it. But, if the party we loved has moved in their principles, do you still stand for it? This is something each of us has to ask ourselves, deep down within our souls. Or are we just going to act as if nothing has happened and be happy that our party has won?? This is again up to every one of us. To do or not to do, to be or not to be???
Let’s look at what it is –
This is NOT something that God intended. Please do not bring God into this challenge. God does not rise from lies and deceit. This is the work of the ungod who Christ warned us about. He comes like a thief in the night. To create disharmony and turmoil, and he is here.
We have to be aware of what we are creating and take responsibility for it. It takes years to build a nation and only one second to break it with a bomb or a tsunami. And this, my friend, is an emotional Tsunami. Please be mindful of it.
Today, there are several layers of security we have when we access our personal bank accounts. These have been set up to prevent scammers from taking over. Yet, we let those who have been accused of worse crimes take total control of this nation.
WHY WHY WHY???
This is not a good thing. There are many of those who complain that the cost of living is too high, and I agree. But it is the same all over the world. Coming out of a depression, it happens, unfortunately. Was this a strong enough factor to throw in the towel?
It seems to be sad; this action will create so much disfigurement to our nation it can take many years to come back from
There are a few ways to work about this as I see moving forward, and I have taken time to write some of my thoughts down for you.
How to Heal
The first point worthy of examination is the impact on our collective psyche. The relentless barrage of news and information can lead to a collective sense of anxiety and fear, eroding the mental well-being of communities. People often feel overwhelmed and powerless in the face of continuing upheaval. Acknowledging these feelings and nurturing spaces where individuals can express their concerns and emotions is essential. By fostering community discussions focused on mental health and emotional support, we can create a network of understanding that helps to alleviate fear and encourages healing. So get involved in talking to others do not isolate yourself. Hold a hand and give a hug. This can be the beginning of healing for all of us.
Next, we must consider the differing perspectives on national issues among the populace. In a diverse society, it is natural for individuals to have varying opinions based on their unique life experiences and backgrounds. However, these differences can lead to significant divisions, further complicating our quest for emotional peace. Encouraging open dialogue is vital, allowing people to listen, learn, and empathize with one another. Creating forums for discussion, town hall meetings, and community gatherings focused on shared values rather than divisive issues can help bridge these gaps. Understanding that disagreements do not need to lead to hostility is crucial for fostering a cohesive environment where compassion and respect thrive.
About our future
Lastly, the potential implications for future generations cannot be overlooked. The chaos and uncertainty we face today will shape the world our children inherit. It is imperative to consider how we address our current challenges, as our actions will set a precedent for the future. Promoting emotional intelligence, resilience, and the importance of communal support among younger generations will equip them to handle crises with grace and unity. Initiating educational programs that emphasize the significance of empathy and conflict resolution can instill essential values that prepare future leaders to navigate complexities with understanding and compassion.
In conclusion, understanding the dynamics of our emotional landscape is crucial as we navigate this complex terrain together. We can work toward a more harmonious existence through genuine empathy and acute awareness, fostering a dialogue that resounds with hope and resilience. As we face these challenges, the key to cultivating a sense of unity lies in our ability to listen and learn from one another. By embracing our differences while celebrating our common humanity, we can create a society that transcends chaos and fosters emotional peace for current and future generations.
I leave you this weekend to wonder Ponder and Pray with me for healing and love and the hand of God to be with our nation as we move forward into the coming months.
Have a blessed day today.
