If I Had Wings
If I had wings, I’d rise above the storm,
To see the world not broken, but reborn.
The tears below would turn to streams of light,
And every wound would learn to heal with sight.
I’d carry love where shadows used to be—
If I had wings, I’d set my spirit free.
We are all spirits having a human experience—souls in motion, walking through time, weaving our stories through light and shadow. Yet too often, we anchor ourselves in yesterday’s pain. We replay the scenes of our past like an endless film reel, believing that by doing so, we are honoring our story. But in truth, we are reliving our wounds instead of transforming them.
As a psychic and medium, I often speak to souls—both in this realm and beyond—who remind us of a sacred truth: life is meant to move forward. The past is not our prison; it is our teacher. It shows us who we were, but it does not define who we are becoming. Spirit tells me often, “The past is a picture—frame it, honor it, but do not live inside it.”
When we dwell in regret, anger, or resentment, we live in a vibration of resistance. Our energy becomes tangled in what was, rather than what can be. Creation cannot happen while we are facing backward. Just as the sun never sets and rises in the same place, our spirit cannot evolve while staring into the darkness of what has already passed.
So today, I invite you to look within. To ask God—or the Divine, or Spirit—where your heart longs to go next. Creation begins not in our mind, but in our soul. It begins when we choose peace over pain, forgiveness over fury, and faith over fear.
If you find yourself looking back, gently remind yourself:
“That was then. This is now. I am a creator of light.”
You are not your past. You are the promise of your next sunrise.
You are the unfolding of divine potential.
When you live looking forward, you live in alignment with the sacred rhythm of life itself. You live in creation mode—with God as your co-creator.
Let your past be the soil, not the cage. Let it grow you, not trap you.
Spread your wings and rise into the sky of your becoming.
